We will look further into depth of what we can do as educators to help these bright students overcome this challenge by using specific instructional reading and math strategies so the student can ultimately solve the problem on their own. You might have students who are taking the state’s math English assessment for the first time in their academic life, if so, this session is for you. You will learn how to close the language gap and use differentiated instruction to challenge your students to think and solve different kinds of challenging math problems. All instructional strategies learned in this session have been tested in the classroom. Climb aboard and join us!
