H.A.T.S. Program (Happily Advancing Towards Success) $200
This community program’s main focus is recognizing the talents and efforts of all students who sometimes take a longer time to conceptualize the different skills being taught in a classroom. These students frequently receive extra educational services requiring more studying and practice time than a regular student. The student’s journey towards mastering the skills is an extraordinary accomplishment! The H.A.T.S program gives business leaders an opportunity to make a contribution of hats (baseball caps) for the school. Business leaders and school working together toward a better future for the children!

Math@Work Program $200
This educational community program is centered on students learning about math through real-world math application. Math@Work brings business and community leaders to the school for hands-on math presentations. Students make connections to real world mathematics through different job professions. Students have so much fun discovering that one can never get away from Math!

Mission Possible: Travel Agent 007 (thematic unit) $50 4th and 5th grade
Mission: Send a family of five to Hawaii for family vacation and bring them back safely Students will develop a plan, carry out the plan and evaluate the solution for reasonableness. Students will use all 4 math operations to solve problem, elapse time, read and interpret charts, find the mean, analyze and organize information plus many more skills.
